Hello! I’m Lizzie, the cake loving, and sugar flower enthusiast behind Dolly Dew Drops. From that first hello, to the final set up of your dream cake I do everything myself, giving me full control over every detail and you a cohesive contact experience throughout. I’m dedicated to producing the highest quality; flawless finish and so commit to no more than 2 wedding cakes a week maximum. This gives you the luxury and exceptional dedication you can only find with a boutique business.
I set up Dolly Dew Drops in 2015 after years of cake decorating and baking for family and friends. Since then I’ve gone on to train extensively with some of the very finest cake artists in the world. From celebrity cake maker Peggy Porschen in London (responsible for many a celeb wedding cakes), to Argentina Carlos Lischetti, Sugar flower master Alan Dunn, queen of the royal icing Tessa Whitehouse and exceptionally talented painted cake specialist Emily Hankins. I’m always seeking new ways to improve and expand on my skills allowing me to offer you the greatest range and variety in cake design. In addition to many sugar-craft certificates I also hold a level 2 award in food safety and a 5 star hygiene certificate.
Dolly Dew Drops continues to grow and establish a flourishing reputation within the wedding industry. With multiple features on top wedding blogs and in Brides Magazine, we were even recently voted one of the best cake designers in London by hitched.co.uk
