Booking Your Consultation
Design and tasting consultations are the best way for us to turn your wildest cake dreams into a reality. Held at our base in Surrey, they give you the best opportunity to meet with Lizzie and see some examples of our work. Consultations last between 1 to 1 and a half hours and allow you to sample our 5 most popular cake flavours, talk logistics of just how much cake you need and perhaps most excitingly put all your cakey ideas into a design idea.
We hold consultation dates over weekends throughout the year, with more frequent dates available in the winter months. Alternative dates and weekdays may also be possible on request.
There is a £25 charge for all consultations which is then fully redeemable against the price of your cake should you choose to progress with us. This fee includes a full 1 hour (sometime more) design consultation, a cup of tea or coffee and a tasting sample of our top 5 most popular flavours:
- White Chocolate and Raspberry
- Madagascan Vanilla Bean
- Lemon
- Salted Caramel
- Chocolate
Have a burning desire to trial something different? We have the option to ‘upgrade’ your consultation. For an additional £20 (non-redeemable) you can request up to three additional flavours, sample one of our signature-iced biscuits (perfect as gift on favours on the big day) and include a glass of bubbly.
Please note Consultations are best suited to 2 people. Ideally bring with you details of your wedding date and venue, number of guests and any design ideas you may have, including (but not limited to) wedding theme, colour scheme, wedding flowers, stationary etc. All consultation bookings are allocated an hours slot so please arrive on time to ensure you get the full design session.
I can’t make it to the tasting dates. Help!
Don’t panic! Inquire now about ordering a ‘tasting box’ from us. This will include up to 5 of our most popular flavours and will be posted guaranteed next day delivery. All our cake are baked fresh for this service and should be eaten on the day of receiving them. There is a non-redeemable £35.00 charge for this service. If you decide you wish to go ahead with booking following tasting the cake we can arrange a complimentary design meeting either via skype or in a convenient. Please note this service is only available for wedding cake bookings.
